SBA Budget Provides for Record Capital for Small Businesses
**News Release** WASHINGTON --The U.S. Small Business Administration Today Announced a fiscal year 2007 budget (increase) request of $624 Million that provides a record $28 Billion in loan and venture capital authority for the agency's flagship small business financing programs. -SBA Press Office News Release No: 06-07
This is Good News and means more money for New Startups and Existing Businesses will be available. The SBA Loan Program is alive and well and more available and flexible than ever and offers loans to businesses and individuals that want to start businesses that would not otherwise qualify or be eligible for small business loans due to lack of collateral, credit or other conventional criteria for loan approvals. The SBA Loan Program makes getting a Business Loan a possibility where none would exist otherwise. This is what the SBA Loan Program was created by Congress in 1953 to accomplish and what it is accomplishing still today over 50 years later.
